What is Kwesé iflix?

Kwesé iflix is an internet TV app for your mobile device with more than thousands of hours of content. You can stream and download the best in sports, amazing tv shows and movies.

What type of content can I find on Kwesé iflix?

We have got loads of local, regional and international Live and Video On demand content, ranging from comedy, drama, fantasy, sports, news, kids and much more.

Do I always pay for content on Kwesé iflix?

No! Thats the great part, we have loads of content for free, but if you want the full VIP experience with all the action you only need to pay a teeny tiny access fee.

What is  Live/Linear TV and Video on demand (VOD)?

Linear TV, is content which is being broadcasted and has to be watched at the exact moment it is offered and on the particular channel it's presented on.

VOD is a catalogue of content that has been uploaded to Kwesé iflix for you to watch, whenever you want, anytime anywhere. Click and play!

What are the different tiers available on Kwesé iflix?

We have two access tiers on the Kwesé iflix service;

  1.    The Free tier has all the free to air content and channels. Customers do not need to have a subscription to watch content within this tier. All they need is  sign up to Kwesé iflix and internet access.
  2.   The Premium/VIP Tier will have VOD content with a Crown sign on it, and Linear Streaming Channels that will be locked for users who do not have a paid up valid subscription. When a customer attempts to view an asset in this tier, they will be prompted to pay their subscription in order to watch.

Can I subscribe to different packages ?

With Kwesé iflix , you have one package with all entertainment with the option to pay-as-you-watch. You can pay for a full 30 days , 7 days or 3 days  and 1 day.

What will it cost?

Pricing is country dependent.  To see pricing for your country, click on the sign up button on the bottom of the homepage of the app or click on the hamburger lines on the top left hand side of the app and choose sign up

In which countries can I find Kwesé iflix?

Kwesé iflix is available in: Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania , Uganda, Ghana, Zambia and Zimbabwe

What about data?

When you stream or download content on Kwesé iflix, this uses mobile data.

Won’t downloading videos consume all my data?

Concerned about your data usage on the app? No need, because with Kwesé iflix you can choose your download speed, to help you save on precious data.

Can I look through the catalogue before registering or signing in?

Yes our catalogue is available for you to browse but should you wish to watch something (free or VIP) you need to sign in.

How do I sign up for Kwesé iflix?

There are many ways to sign up to Kwesé Iflix, you can sign up using Google, Facebook, Email and your Phone number.

As well as your Kwesé account (Meaning if you are an existing Kwesé user you can just login using your phone number that you used to create your Kwesé account).

If you sign up using Google, Facebook or email you will not be able to view any content until we have verified your mobile number with a OTP (one time pin). This is a once off process and only has to be done once.

That's not all, because we partner with loads of Mobile Network Operator Partner you can use partners various channels such as USSD, SMS or your Self-Care platform, provided by your Mobile Network Operator.

I am a Kwesé TV subscriber. Does this give me access to Kwesé iflix?

No, Kwesé TV has its own associated app, which can be downloaded on the Google Play Store or Apple Store but you need to have a Kwesé TV decoder and is an extension of your Kwesé TV subscription.

You can use your existing Kwesé account to sign into Kwesé iflix and subscribe.

Kwesé iflix is a unique product created specifically for on-the-move African, with plenty of live and VOD content.

How do I pay?

There are numerous ways to pay - you can pay via Card, Mobile Money, Apple Pay, Google Wallet and even Airtime if your network operator is a Kwesé-Iflix partner.

Where can I buy a Kwesé iflix voucher ?

Kwesé Iflix vouchers are given out by Kwesé iflix or your MNO partners.

How do I redeem my voucher ?

That is easy peasy, lemon squeezy !

  1. Click the menu tab ,
  2. The my account menu will display
  3. Scroll down to redeem voucher
  4. Input your voucher code
  5. Click Submit

And Viola !

What devices can I use to stream Kwesé iflix?

Kwesé iflix is available on Android and iOS  devices…

Apple devices: iPhone 5 and above, iOS9 and above…

Android devices: 4.4 and above

How many devices can I use to stream Kwesé iflix?

You can connect up to 5 devices and stream up to 2 at the same time. If you add the 6th Kwesé Iflix can be used on 5 different mobile devices, and you can watch on two different devices concurrently. If  you would like to add a another device, you will be required to remove 1 registered device from your profile

I’m having issues streaming videos – help!

We know it’s the WORST when the video you want to watch won’t stream properly! Many streaming issues are caused by problems with the internet connection or low network strength, and are not related to the Kwesé iflix service. Try these tips to resolve common streaming issues:

Restart Playback on Device: Try exiting playback for the video you’re watching. Then tap Resume to start the video again. If this doesn’t work, close and relaunch the app.

Temporarily pause other Internet activities: If possible, try pausing Internet activities on your other connected devices to maximize your bandwidth for Kwesé iflix streaming.

How do I download ?                                                                                                                                                            

When on mobile, users can download content that has a download sign available and be able to watch.,

To download, follow the below easy steps:

  1.     Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
  2.     Locate this icon  on the show you want and click the magical button.
  3.     Pick your preferred resolution.
  4.     You can download a maximum of 10 shows in total (TV episodes and movies) per device at any one time

How can I watch my downloaded content ?

From the home page, click on the hamburger menu (the 3 lines in the top left hand corner of the app), scroll down to my downloads and select

Once downloaded, where is my content stored ?

The content is stored on your device’s memory so be sure to have enough on your phone.

Do I need to be connected to the internet to watch content previously downloaded ?

No, once you have content downloaded you don't need an internet connection to watch your downloaded content.

How many movies can I download?

Users can download 25 videos at a time. Yeah that’s right !

Is there a time limit for a movie I have downloaded?

Each movie/series has a 30 day expiration that turns into 48 hours when watched.

TV series and movies can be started, stopped and viewed as many times as it suits you over the 48 hours.

How to find your account Support ID?

-       Login

-       Menu Tab

-       Under Account, click on Profile

How can I change my subscription plan?

When your current subscription package ends, go to your Profile page and simply select the new plan you wish to purchase.

How to change your password?

To reset your password, you will need to:

-       Go to the My Account menu, click on My Account

-       Click on Change Password

-       Input information required (Old password, New Password & Confirm new Password)

-       Click on Change Password

     

How do I sign out of Kwesé iflix ?

Leaving already? (That’s okay. We’re pretty sure we’ll see you again real soon).

To sign out:

-       Navigate to your homepage

-       Head to the menu bar on the top left

-       Click on your profile name and you should see a log out option

-       Then, just erm….log out

If I do not renew my subscription will I then not have any access to any of the content?

Even if you don’t pay your subscription, you will always have access to our free content, including Kwesé Free Sports, 24/7

How often do you update content?                                                                                                                                                                    

Our content is updated every month, or every week, or sometimes every day if we feel fancy, so you'll never have to watch the same thing twice (unless that's how you roll). Our aim is to be continuously more awesome by continuously adding value to your Kwesé iflix subscription.

How about subtitles?

Where can I see my viewing history?

Some things are too good not to repeat. To access your viewing history, you’ll just need to do sign in, go to “Account” and select “History”.

You can now view a list of shows and movies that you’ve recently watched. Replay away, my friend!

 

Where can I find kid friendly content on Kwesé iflix?

You can find all kinds of fun stuff under the “Kid’s Section” on Kwesé iflix. Everything from cartoon shows to even the latest animation films. All content is of course, appropriate for kids 12 and under. You’re welcome.

Are there hidden charges?  What if I don’t want to continue with my subscription?

There are no hidden charges! If you decide that you don’t want to subscribe you will not have access to the VIP content ☹, however you will have access to the free content. On a positive note, you can always sign up when you’re ready!
