Watch world-class reality shows and comedy-drama series exclusively on Kwesé Stories (Channel 105). Here’s a taste of what to expect on the channel that will revive your soul and open your heart.

In 2002 Kim Catrall won a Golden Globe for her role in the long-running comedy series Sex and the City. She plays the lead in Sensitive Skin (Mondays at 21:30 CAT), a comedy-drama about an aging couple keen to rediscover their vigour and reinvent their lives. Davina (Catrall) and Al (Don McKellar) move out of their family home to live in a downtown loft in a diverse neighbourhood. Sensitive Skin is funny, engaging and moving, with great performances by Catrall and McKellar.

If you enjoy Sensitive Skin you’ll relate to Playing House (Tuesdays at 21:30 CAT). When Maggie (Lennon Parham) leaves her husband after catching him having an affair, her best friend Emma (Jessica St. Clair) gives up a successful career to help Maggie care for her new-born child. The series was inspired by Parham and St. Clair’s real life friendship, and the warmth and wittiness of the show is enhanced by their onscreen chemistry.

Life with La Toya (Saturdays at 19:00 CAT) is a reality series about La Toya Jackson, singer-songwriter and sister of Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson. Get to know La Toya as she starts a new business, plunges back into the dating scene, and looks for a new house. She also opens up to the cameras about the death of her brother, an abusive former husband, and the highs and low of belonging to one of pop music’s famous dynasties.

What happens when disturbed people stalk the innocent on social media? #killerpost (Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:30 CAT) is a series that follows true stories in which social media posts have led to serious crimes. Viewers be warned that the content is sometimes shocking, but it makes for riveting viewing as we enter the minds of the tortured souls who populate cyberspace.

David Tutera has a great job, he plans events for celebrities. This glamorous career is the subject of the reality series David Tutera’s Celebrations (Sundays at 20:00 CAT), where we get a glimpse into how big name celebrities – like Lil’ Kim, Brandy and Ray J - like to party. Their entertainment expenses are easily inflated, and so are their egos.

Escape into another world with these shows, exclusively on Kwesé TV. And, you can also catch other world-class titles exclusively on Kwesé Stories, including Younger (Mondays and Tuesdays at 22:00 CAT), Exhale (Mondays to Thursdays at 20:00 CAT), Fix My Mom (Thursdays at 21:30 CAT) and Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce (Mondays at 22:30 CAT).
