The Best of Seven for Seven, Revealed!

15:30 SAST | 30 Mar 2017

This April Fashion One – the leading New York-based international fashion, entertainment and lifestyle network – turns seven. To celebrate this momentous occasion the network will release an exclusive anniversary special, The Best of Seven, treating viewers with the hottest picks from the world’s most extravagant and dashing fashion shows and lifestyle events.

Over the years Fashion One has showcased countless runways and stylish events from around the world. In this special feature viewers will enjoy a whirlwind fashion adventure. We travel to Africa, Australia, Asia, Europe, North America, South America and Russia in a round-up of the best fashion-scapes each region has to offer.

Ethnic-inspired fashion is prominent in Africa, as in the likes of Alon Shina and Adele Dejak designs. Asia’s street-style fuses the modern with the oriental, evident during Shanghai Fashion Week. And Russia pays tribute to its imperial past as see in the exclusive Maserati Levante show that exhibits prima ballerinas such as Kate Bugrova from the Mikhailovsky Theater.

In the fashion capitals, Europe offers the most avant-garde fashion styles and premier campaigns, such as Triumph’s lingerie shoot with Karolina Jaroch. North America rolls out star-studded red carpet events with the likes of the Tony Awards and a prosperous street-style scene. The fashion market in South America is on the rise, with their gorgeous Latina top models like Greta Jimenez, Mykita and Natalia Velez. And, the homegrown labels and fashion-forward styles of Kirrilly Johnston and Kate Sylvester from Australia continue to excel.

If you didn’t think that was fabulous enough, we’re giving you even more.

Best on Seven debuts Saturday 8 April at 22:30 CAT, only on Fashion One.
